The Band will feature guest director, Aaron Engleman, Director of the St. Joseph High School bands, and The Municipal Band's Brass Quintet, coordinated by William Camp.

Guest conductor Alan Mitchell and trombone soloist Gary Cooper featured, along with Saxophone Duet by Sandra Krieg and Christopher Keech conducted by composer Drew Kaptur.
Guest conductor, featured with several soloists and “The Reveliers,” a men’s barbershop quartet will be the guest performers.
The concert then features guest conductor Jay Crouch and a special composition by well-known resident Dorothy Trachte entitled “My Song,” which will be sung by guest vocalist for the concert, Madeleine Schrock

commemorate the beginning of the Summer Olympics the next week. Everyone's Favorite Michelle Bythrow be the band guest vocal soloist at the afternoon and evening concerts and than again at the late night Big Band concert.
St Joseph Municipal Band welcomes Christopher Mustell who will conduct two numbers in Sunday’s concerts, celebrating John E. N. Howard’s conducting lesson 30 years ago.

Director Donald Moely announced this week’s fare will
feature a French Horn solo by principal horn of the band, Stacie Detgen, who will also guest conduct the band in two numbers.
The Citadel Dance troupe will be the bands special guests and there will a tribute to the victums of the violence at the Berrien County Court House earlier this week.

“We are ready to begin the summer with the 2016 St. Joseph Municipal
Band,” says director Dr. Donald Moely. He continued “The band is eager
toshare it’s music entertainment with the loyal audiences from St.
Joseph, the surrounding communities and many visitors from many other
states vacationing in St. Joseph, as well as with the many visitors from
all over the world, which attend the free concerts each summer at the
picturesque setting of the John E. N. Howard Band Shell.
