THE JUNE 26, 2011, OPENING CONCERTS OF THE ST. JOSEPH MUNICIPAL BAND SEASON.
“We are ready to begin the summer with the 2010 St. Joseph Municipal Band,” says director Donald Moely. He continued “The band is eager to share it’s music entertainment with the loyal audiences from St. Joseph,
the surrounding communities and many visitors from all over the world.
However director Moely said he opens this season with sadness as his
wife, Eloise, son Michael and himself have large holes in their hearts.
By request, at the first concert of this season, June 26, the band will
dedicate some numbers to the memory of their daughter “Donelle,” who
    passed away in May”

The band’s normal summer series of concerts starts as usual, the last Sunday of June, (June 26, 2011) with the 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. hour long concerts. The first concerts of the summer season each year also includes a ‘late night’ additional ‘Big Band’ concert from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m.
